VOLUMES at Distribution Hall, Austin, TX 2024 - Sensory Overload
In 2024 I partnered with Evans Drumheads and Sensory Percussion to create an installation integrating the Evans Hybrid Sensory Percussion Sound System. This unique hardware/software system transforms acoustic drums into dynamic tools for electronic music-making. From September 6th - 8th a performance series at Distribution Hall featured musicians working at the intersection of percussion and electronic music. Our studio collaborated with musicians and engineers to develop custom audio presets linked to interactive visuals. Performers included Nate Smith, Val Jeanty, Greg Fox, Ben Sloan, Brannen Temple, and Michael Gonzales
